The .litematic and .schem formats

.litematic is the format of the Litematica mod for Fabric. It can hold several named regions plus a block-state palette and metadata that the mod uses to draw in-game placement guides and material lists. The Sponge .schem format used by WorldEdit and FAWE instead stores a single region of namespaced block states inside gzipped NBT. Converting flattens Litematica's regions into one schematic and rewrites the palette into the Sponge layout WorldEdit expects.
